Pengembangan SNEDDS Ekstrak Kulit Buah Manggis (Garcinia mangostana L.) Sebagai Antibakteri Staphylococcus aureus

Kulit buah manggis ( Garcinia mangostana L ) merupakan tanaman yang cukup populer di Indonesia. Ekstrak kulit memiliki kandungan alpha mangostin. Berdasarkan penelitian senyawa tersebut aktivitas sebagai antibakteri Staphylococcus aureus . tingkat kelarutan rendah sehingga efektivitasnya tidak maksimal. Formulasi dalam bentuk SNEDDS diharapkan dapat meningkatkan daya dan bioavailabilitas dari ekstrak mampu antibakteri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui formula optimum uji fisiknya. Hasil parameter fisik berupa pengukuran partikel dengan rata-rata 20,2 nm, potensial zeta -22,8 mV, transmitan 96,6%, emulsification time 24:70 detik, sifat stabil. diformulasikan mempunyai lebih baik dibandingkan manggis.
